→ Original Town Plan Rights-of-Way Survey – We received this email from Robert Jordan Friday morning. We have attached the pdf of the plat.
The City of Oxford Original Town Plan Right-of-way plat is on record in Plat Book 51, P. 109-112 in Newton County. The version that was recorded is attached. Although the recording was an important step, and constitutes the final step in our scope of services for this project, I consider the plat a living document that can and should be built upon and expanded to serve additional purposes and additional users over time. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to assist Oxford with this very interesting and challenging project.

→ Happy Birthday Party Balloon – We had an instantaneous power outage in part of our system on Thursday. This was caused by a party balloon that floated up and wrapped its aluminum tail around one hot wire and one ground wire. It blew a fuse and caused a short. The system came back on right away because the balloon had blown up. PS. The picture is not the actual balloon. We only found the remnants.
