→ Historical Marker at Old Church - Steve Longcrier was in town Monday to install the historical marker at the Old Church. This was approved in a Resolution by Council in December, 2013. They have received all the approvals and are now installing four or five markers a day.

→ Oxford College Organic Farm – Daniel Parson, organic farmer, presented the Oxford College Community Classroom lecture Tuesday afternoon. He thoroughly explained his methods and goals. We learned that this is his fourth organic farm. The Community Supported Agriculture program will have its signup for the Spring growing season soon. He has a lot of students working on the farm – some as work-study students and some as volunteers. Some days, the carrots are picked in the morning and served on the salad bar in the dining hall for lunch!

→ Thomas Turner Building – We had about 30 people attend the dedication of the Thomas Turner Building.
