→ Old Church – There may, or may not, be a scene from a made for TV movie filmed at the Old
Church Sunday. The producers have been coordinating with Frank Davis and Jim Watterson,
but they keep changing their minds. So they may be coming, and they may not. We’ll see.
→ Old Town Hall – Work is continuing on the Old Town Hall. The garage doors are off, replaced
with windows, and the front has new shutters and a new paint job. As part of the contract
we are painting all the windows. The painters discovered that two of the rear windows (the
larger two) need to be replaced. I have issued a separate purchase order for $1,515 to
replace the two windows. It just didn’t make any sense to paint rotten wood.
→ UGA Design Team – The UGA design team presented their final report during a luncheon Friday.
Mayor Roseberry and Councilmembers Eady, Holt, and Windham were there for the entire
presentation. Councilmember Davis joined us at the end of the meeting. We will present a
summary of their report along with copies of the written report during the work session
Monday evening.
